Marina Cafe - WHITSUNDAYS

This cafe is a great choice for breakfast. I tried the loaded veggie bowl and it was both fresh and healthy. I also enjoyed their fresh juice and later returned for a smoothie. I would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed a satisfying breakfast with everything we requested being served promptly by the very friendly staff. Prices were in line with those found throughout Hamilton Island, but this is to be expected in such a popular tourist destination.

We had been enjoying delicious breakfast dishes at the Marina Cafe on our last day on Hamilton Island. However, this morning (June 23), we were surprised to be charged $23 for a stale donut and two coffees. When we asked about the high price, we were informed that there was a 20% surcharge on all items due to it being a public holiday (Friday). We were unable to find any information about a Queensland holiday on any calendar. Overall, we felt it was a rip off.

Great Cafe for a quick breaky before a day of exploring. Variety of sandwiches and pastries pre-made in cabinet. There was a small A’ le-carte menu. Coffee was good. Fast service.

Visited the cafe at 8:30am on a Thursday morning. Had to wait 10 minutes for the table to be cleared and wiped. Bacon and egg muffin was very average, egg was over cooked and bacon was greasy. Wouldn’t return.
