Hooked-buffalo - Williamsville

The food was good. the appetizer was very good, so was the escape.

All right. it has to get another waiter than just one who serves all tables. felt a little brushed

Very rarely do wife and I get to enjoy an evening out without the kids. We are seafood foodies and Hooked failed to meet our expectations. The biggest factor in our disappointment was the noise level, as live music (which was on the other side of the dining room) was blasting far too loud for us to enjoy a conversation with each other without shouting across the table. For being a seafood restaurant we expected more unique seafood options on the menu. The calamari and salmon tasted fine but lacked a dynamic flavor profile or wow-factor that would justify their price points or inspire us to return.

Was super excited to try Hooked. The food was pretty good but the service and ambiance left us a little disappointed. Not sure I'd go back.

Decided to have a few small plates for variety. Food and service was of excellent quality. Appreciated the ambience-quieter than most restaurants. Polite and attentive wait staff.
