Strummers - WIRRAL

Went in and asked for a custom made vegan breakfast wrap (not on menu) and they were only too happy to oblige. One of the most delicious things I've eaten for a while would definitely recommend. Will definitely visit again.

Still the best cafe on Wirral. 5 years on from finding it and still haven't had a bad meal. I've graduated to taking my daughter and 2 grandchildren. It must be good if my 4 year old grand daughter regularly finishes her breakfast. The staff are always glad to see you and exercise their attentive duties perfectly. Chris the chef deserves credit for putting together such great package JP

Feeling peckish so thought I'd try this place again,it's been a few years since last visit here. I normally go the wetherspoons further down the street, but wanted something different today. Place was very clean with ample seating. Music was on and low, which is good. Ordered the great British breakfast. You get a choice of sausage, normal or premium, which costs a little more. I went for the normal. Service and staff were polite and courteous. Breakfast was served quickly and very well presented. It was 6 pound for this with the coffee. Pretty good really.

Not worth it, all drinks one size (which are all small) hardly anything on the menu to choose from!!

You will have to meet Chris to understand what a decent straight up guy he is. There 's a very good reason why Strummers is called Strummers. Chris is an original from the punk era, and he named his Café in honour of the great man himself, Joe Strummer. I had the full English with the Cumberland style sausage up grade, don 't deny yourself for 60p, it 's worth every penny. Thanks Chris, the bacon was perfect. No rubbery rubbish here, the hash brown was perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy and light internally. The black pud was full of flavour, plenty of Tom 's which went well with the thick sliced toast. The egg was bright yellow and as my farmers wife gran would have served. I should have asked for some but I will on my next visit. Most importantly, the filtered coffee is really good, and the gaff is spotless. As Arnie once said, I will be back 10/10 Chris loved the chat about our punk interest, and I look forward to round two!
