Excellent value for money, nice and friendly people, the restaurant is run by a big family, we had the pleasure to meet Simba, a really nice guy! Close road to get there, get no fear bringing a torch or use the one from your phone...

One of the best meals I had on this island. The fish was delicious and rice from this world. It is a hidden jewel located in Matenwe village and recommend people to go there.

If you want traditional food with a nice host: go here. Very authentic feeling and food. Although all visitors were tourists! Paid 32k tzs for 2 meals and drinks: water is free. Go! Octopus was delicious!
