Heart Soul Cafe - Zanzibar

There are a lot of vegan dishes on the menu (clearly labeled), and the food we had was so tasty that we went there twice! Only the zucchini pasta could have some more vegetables in it. We sat in the front both times, when we left we discovered that there‘s another seating area in the back that looked really cute and wasn‘t directly next to the road, we would sit there next time. The food is prepared freshly so it takes a while, but it‘s absolutely worth the wait. 100% recommend!

I was here with my friend and we had noodles with vegetables. It was good but the noodles were so crunchy as if there was dust or sand in it. It was on a busy street, we were here at night. But the food was cheap and the service was nice. I can still smell dust in my mouth after eating.

We had a struggle finding an affordable vegetarian place here but this vegan (maybe the only place here) restaurant was very nice. The food was fresh made and the staff was friendly.

By coincidence I found this beautiful place on the main road in nungwi. I went every night there during my stay beginning februar 2022. renest and the whole team are amazing. they cook and serve with love they sing while cooking in the open kitchen. eating is soou tasty and healthy, it is incredible. I thought the prices were reasonable. once they served samosa and humus as a greeting from the kitchen for free: I loved the positive spirit of this place and wish them all good for the expansion of the restaurant. it is a great concept and will certainly be successful. further growing : annemarie from Austria

We were so excited to find out that there is a vegan restaurant in nungwi! and one with super delicious food! we got a free samosa with hummus cut by gurke and carrot as starter free, which was super sweet! we ordered the bowl and garlic bread and it was heavenly! the aromes were an explosion in their mouth! the food is highly recommended here! and the best part, we were told that it is local in owned (which is obviously quite rare in zanzibar.) eating is a little expensive (15k for a pornstar, we expected that food cheaper to zanzibar in general,) but totally worth it!
