Feedback geven20 minutes waiting for us to only get the aperitif command! Another 20 minutes to get used to the aperitif! The bouquet, we get the soft mouths when the glasses are empty! One of the caquelons' burners was dusty and decorated with spider canvases! Another 30 minutes to get melted. The melts are not bad, but the bill is salted, we didn't even take wine! The room was not filled, we couldn't understand the slowness of this service. to the payment of the painful one does not even ask us the question to know if the meal went well.
Fondue with expensive cheese and without the taste of a real savoyard fondue or the texture that was very grumpy that looked more like an industrial melt than to do in the old. I was expecting another quality at 21€ per person.Sorry for the charcuterie clearly under vacuum. Nothing exceptional. The service is disconnected and the waitresses appear to be constantly overflowed. The addition when to it, unfortunately does not reflect the quality of service and meal.
The cheese and meat fondues and the homemade fries are good but the service leaves to be desired-: long wait times- waitress sometimes "aside the plate" (forgotten fish, bad dish-.) odor of cigarette in the room where we ate- the blown in the mirabelle had a taste of other things (as when we leave something to the fridge without covering it and that it was even worse)
A catastrophic service tonight. Almost 3 hours for a 2-person meal. a lack of a blatant organization, dishes that arrive in a lag, a dessert that does not match what you order. Anyway, tonight, we can say it, it's a failure. It's a shame because so far we've always been satisfied with this restaurant. Let's give them one last chance and say it wasn't their night. A mistake may have happened. Let's hope it'll be the last time if not for us it'll be the last time at the caquelon.
A very recommended place. very good food. typical of the region. the owner and the chef are charming.You have to get by car. is in a small small village.
