I really don't understand why this restaurant has any negative reviews. I am a frequent customer at this pub and the food has always been amazing! I have visited more than 15 times and the experience has always been wonderful. The service is consistently excellent and the dishes are always cooked perfectly. The Chicken Schnitzel and Porchetta are always standout items on their menu. I also love the selection of beers on tap. I enjoyed this place so much that I have even celebrated two private birthday parties here. Both nights were catered perfectly!

This restaurant was a great choice for my mom's birthday dinner! While it was on the pricier side, the formal setting was worth it. One downside was that one of our meals seemed to have been forgotten about, resulting in my dad eating after the rest of us. Despite that, the restaurant was bustling and the food was decent. The wait staff were friendly and attentive.

4 of us visited The Maylands pub last night. Excellent service, staff were attentive and knew their stuff. 3 of us ordered whiting crumbed battered, hubby ordered the lamb shank with vegetables. Meals were excellent, if any fault, maybe the salad a bit dry without any dressing I think it was a ‘try hard’ coleslaw without the dressing. Whiting, 3 medium size pieces was juicy delicious. The lamb shank, only the bone was left on the plate. Overall great place with the renovated dining area. Will be a cosy place to gather around the fire in winter. Would recommend this pub in the eastern burbs!

Delicious food but the service could have been more attentive. The waitress was painstakingly cleaning chairs rather than seeing if we would like a drink the place was virtually empty. Might be simpler not to have table service

I went to this restaurant last week for dinner with 7 people. The recent renovations have greatly improved the appearance and atmosphere of the dining room and eating areas, and we were very impressed. The staff provided excellent service throughout the evening. The quality of the food seems to have been elevated as well. We were happy to see that there were more vegan options available for the 2 vegans in our group. The dishes were all delicious and satisfying. I would definitely recommend this place.
