Muffin Break - Basildon

I regularly visit the store after work to grab a coffee. The staff are polite and friendly. There has been the very rare occasion where they are training new staff or have a new menu, which means service can be a bit slower...but this is to be expected. Its my go to place for a coffee and cake in the town. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere, even when its busy. The place is always clean and staff are constantly coming out to clean up empty cups and trays.

My daughter wanted to treat me to lunch we was sitting down as people was ordering sitting with there food so I kept going up they kept saying its on its way when it come out 40 minutes later my daughter had to wait for hers another 20mins the food was disgusting we tried to complain but they were so busy the young man just walked of so I will tell my family friends that will never entertain this place again. Very poor staff service

We always visit here on Saturdays for our breakfast we love the service and atmosphere and one of the managers always recognise us today he asked if we wanted to try the goat cheese and beetroot sandwich cooked and I must say it was simply delicious we shall come here every Saturday without fail the food is superb

As we normally do we stopped to have breakfast before shopping and must say the service gets better each week the friendly staff and attentive service the customers receive has improved since the new management took over the service is quicker and hardly any wait even with a full restaurant the manager even double checked if I’m allowed to get discount as I work next to restaurant he even offered double discount on next visit we will continue to get our breakfasts here

Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel... Bagel was stale or poor quality Smoked salmon is minced up!! Only time I have seen it like this is the off cuts, that are sold cheaper. So if you like stale Bagels with minced Smoked salmon in then this is the place yo get them!! The tea was nice. Also bought a Blueberry muffin but have not tried that... just hope it's OK.
