Hong Kong - Blantyre

I ordered the orange chicken, Singapore noodles, Hong Kong soup (which is a rice and shrimp soup), and dumplings. The orange chicken was delicious, featuring a sweet orange sauce that wasn't overly sugary. The noodles were fantastic, loaded with mushrooms, sprouts, and just the right amount of spicy paprika and sauce. My partner really enjoyed the soup; however, he found the shrimp a bit chewy. The dumplings were well-cooked, and I liked the meat filling. To be honest, I typically don't enjoy cooked dumplings, but I've had worse at more expensive restaurants. The place wasn't very crowded, and we had a lovely time chatting with the owner.

One of our favorite restaurants in Malawi! Regardless of what others may say, we've always enjoyed the variety of dishes on their menu. If you love Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go! The staff and management are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a great meal and an enjoyable experience. It’s definitely our top choice!

I would rate this place four stars. After all, it's Chinese food in Malawi! I tried the special fillet mignon sizzling beef, the ants on leaves appetizer, and a "spring roll," which turned out to be a rather ordinary fried egg roll. The staff was large and attentive, the food was hot and tasty, and the prices were incredibly low.

It was 8:00 when I arrived at the Hong Kong restaurant on Sunday night. We were the only customers there. The waiter was very attentive and the food was fast. We got hot soup and fried bamboo shoots and mushrooms as well as chicken with cashews. Food was decent and it's good for the prices we paid.

Traditional Chinese food the interior of the restaurant is unfortunately from the last century there is not really much going on. Nevertheless, there is good food the price performance is not outstanding but lush. Leftovers are also gladly packed by the staff and can be taken away.
