Definitely some premium attached to the location and the decor/ambiance. Service was good. They have options available for all kinds of dietary restrictions.
Tasty food; the salmon and the squid were my favourites. The only qualm I had was that the burger and lobster roll buns tasted like cheap buns from the grocery store. Awesome view at sunset though.
One of the most memorable meals of my Cabot Trail adventure! L'Abri is beautifully located along the coast, with views of the ocean. The food is superb and delicately plated. Don't forget to try the carrot cake one of the best I've ever had!
Food was pretty good but a bit overpriced for the proportions. The best part of the meal was the potato chip sides which were crunchy throughout. The biggest downsides to this restaurant is the price and long wait times despite it not being too busy.
What a meal! This was easily our favorite restaurant on Cape Breton. The decor was warm, cozy, and inviting. The service was friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding... well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The steak was out of this world! I was even happy with the house wines. They were delicious and well priced. If we lived in Cheticamp, we'd definitely eat here once a week.
