We were promptly seated, made our choices and ordered. We waited a while for our meal but the staff were apologetic they had 2 staff not turn up. All is forgiven when you know whats going on. Partner had an acceptable parma, and i ordered slow cooked lamb shoulder with pita, lemon baked potatoes and greek salad. It came out well presented and was delcious, beautiful lamb, not fatty at all and the salad and potatoes were great too. I would recommend this place to anyone.
We went as a group for dinner on the weekend. Service is terrible. Never had such bad service. For what they charge, simply getting a menu or a bottle of water the table shouldn't be so difficult. Service was unfriendly and unapproachable. Food was ok, but again for what they charge it should be much better. Serving size of meals are generous but lacking in flavor. Atmosphere in the restaurant was stale and like the customers were being annoying by being there.
We stopped here in Colac for brunch on the way to Warrnambool. We both had the bacon
My sense was that this cafe was trying to be something more than it was. The breakfast was very tasty but basic home cooked fare, nothing fancy. The rest of the environment though was clearly trying to be chic and sophisticated. My friends had the burgers and were very pleased. The service was Ok but nothing special. I wonder if the dinner is more in-line with the image they are looking for. The bathrooms are clean.
We went here for lunch. It is a very small cafe that can get quite busy. My partner ordered the chicken parma and I ordered the chicken wrap. The prices were roughly $19 and $15. The meals came out at the same time which took about 15 minutes. The both meals were very large. The chicken parma was half salad and 1/4 each of chips and parma. My wraps came out and it was a much better ratio of wrap and chips. The wraps themselves tasted alright but they were open both ends so as soon as you took a bit it would all fall out the other end. Apart from that it was a nice place to stop and eat along the main street of Colac.
