Taberna Tapas - Durham

Patrick is the best server and bartender in the Triangle. The food was also incredible: if you like spicy, get the Diablo sauce with the wings. The Shrimp is fresh and the flavors on every dish are delicious. Top 3 Tapas: Empanadas (all varieties were incredible), Gambas Anjillos, and a toss up between the Skirt steak and short rib.

Overall great culinary experience. The setting is close quarters, low lit, and intimate. Great for a date. The food was perfect sized for two people with excellent flavors. Almost like it should be criminal to be that flavorful. My first octopus that made me change my opinion about the dish, it was the star of this program. Paella was her favorite. No doubt packed with flavor and savory for two.

Pretty good not the BEST tapas I had. I thought some of the dishes were lacking flavor. Overall though pretty well.
