Kfc - Harlingen

This KFC needs better management. The chicken is never fresh. Today I asked to give me some fresh chicken. I was told that the "fresh" chicken was on the back of chefs and I saw girls go to get it. If that was fresh, how bad must the rest be. It was nowhere near fresh. The chicken was super fat and rubbery. The cookies were as usual hard. I think they deliberately don't give you a receipt so you don't have any information to make surveys and complain. I waited for two months since last visit to hope that things would improve, but they did not. Not sure whether any regional managers even see these reviews. Why can't you cook all the small batches of fresh chicken, so is it fresh? I'd wait to drive the whole way home, just to go back and get back the old chicken. I included picture, but you can not taste or feel the hard cookies and old chicken from picture. I won't come back here.

My dogs love this chicken too, but I make sure I freshen the chickens nuggets if not I crispy

Have had better days but still go on occasion, it's more to order at the drive thru than online sometimes so pay attention to that in case you want a good deal. It wasn't very appetizing seeing it straight out of the box and why did my biscuit look like someone used it as a stress ball I will never know ? but tasted better than it looked and my dad still loves it. Love the famous bowl and they always add the extra gravy when I ask, only had maybe one bad bowl since I have been going there and I say that because it seemed to be just the crunchy outside and no chicken inside any of the chicken pieces, so I made sure not to go close to closing after that. Still some decent chicken when you crave it

Very slow service. The Famous bowls we ordered had a very small amount of chicken, corn, and gravy. Nothing but a bunch of kids running the joint.

Should have read reviews b4 eating here. This places service SUX! The tables were dirty and so we're the floors. Franchisee... If you cannot adequately staff your stores close the dining room and go with just drive thru and curbside.
