Glenn's Taqueria - Independence

While on my way home from Mammoth, I stumbled upon this hidden gem on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. I ordered some carne asada street tacos and a carne asada quesadilla, and they were delicious! The meat was incredibly flavorful. Just a heads up, it's a food truck on the corner and they only accept Venmo as payment.

This restaurant is fantastic! We tried the chile verde and a chipotle quesadilla, both were delicious and had just the right amount of spice. The parking is convenient and easy to find. I highly recommend this place!

This roadside food truck in Independence/hwy 395 was a random stop and a pleasant surprise. apparently, is family run with mother/daughter? team answers ask and is very helpful. Portions are large enough to share and the shrimp tacos are to die. salsa runs hot to mild depending on the preference. small tables along the road or sitting in their car with the door open. not a beer, but we brought ourselves. do not let the food truck concept scare them and yes there is a bathroom. will definitely return.

The tacos were amazing. We decided to stop on our way and try them based on the reviews, and we were not let down!
