Where to start? Shines is hands down the best bar in the West End! Staff is great; always available for a conversation a laugh and a good time. The reason for me writing this post is to appreciate the level of care and concern for safety of all patrons that the staff has. I won't write out the entire thing, but on one occasion I was being followed/had someone not leave me alone. Mike, Tom and (another) Mike made sure that the guest left and kept me safe while he was leaving. They made sure that the unruly guest didn't see me leave or follow me, and got him to leave me alone while I was at the bar. Its great to see a group of people that put the safety of their guests at the forefront of their business even if it is a busy Sunday Night. Also, drinks are on point, and while they don't serve food, they are always open to you ordering/eating outside food at the bar while you have a drink!

Stay open until wee hrs in the morning when all the other places in the city are nearby. People are all different ages and respectable
