Good Indian restaurant a few steps from South Kensington Metro Station. We had lunch with a chicken dish Murg Tikka and one of Tandoori Murgh. Well cooked food, quick service. Only bottled non-alcoholic beer. It's an Indian restaurant to consider.
I have visited this restaurant a few times (whenever I am in London). It is conveniently located near Bayswater station. During my most recent visit, we had a late lunch. We ordered garlic naan, raita, and chicken tikka. The chicken tikka was just okay, but the garlic naan was delicious. They also provided small side dishes like mango pickle and chutney, which were tasty. The prices were reasonable. The service was average, with the waiter being very professional but not particularly friendly.
The flavor of the main courses was exceptional, and the sides were also delicious. The service at this neighborhood restaurant was excellent.
My wife and I visited this cafe around 12:00 on a weekday. It is more of a casual dining spot than a fancy restaurant, with seating for about 15 to 20 people. The place is simple and clean, but that doesn't take away from the delicious food. We ordered fresh lamb seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, lamb curry, and tandoori rotis. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. It came with a salad (Pakistani style, with onions, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato) and a spicy yogurt raita. The food was flavorful, fresh, and quite affordable. Our total bill was around £12, which is a great deal. While it may not be the ideal spot for a romantic date or family outing, it's definitely worth a try. The cafe has a simple environment, so don't expect fancy decor or ambiance. We were in and out in 30 minutes, but we will definitely return when we're in the area.
