Firehouse Subs - Orlando

The location is convenient for the UCF area, making it easy to get in and out. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. The food was fresh! I'm a fan of Firehouse, and they did a great job of earning my loyalty. I can imagine it can get quite busy here because of its proximity to the UCF campus!

The sandwiches here are significantly larger than those at other national sandwich chains. However, the service was rather slow during my visit, taking about 30 minutes to prepare my sandwich. Additionally, they overlooked part of my order.

The service was fast. It took less than 10 minutes to get my sub after I had ordered and the staff was friendly. I ordered the middle engineer Sub. It was pretty good. Smoked turkey breast, molten Swiss and beautified mushrooms, served Fully Involved, with Mayo, Deli mustard, salad, tomatoes, onion and a kosher dill pimple on the side. I wish they put more veggies on the sub, but overall I was satisfied. I would return in the future.

The subs here are truly excellent. However, if they aren't eaten right after they're made, the bread can become soggy. Overall, it's one of the better places to grab a sub.
