(And I’ve been to each many times and it’s beyond consistent)The soft neon lights are so inviting and make for a perfect date night.Service is always very hospitable and knowledgeable with quick attentive food orders and delicious drink recommendations. Strawberry Soju is my favorite! The meats are sooo fresh and the fried sushi is perfectly crispy and hot! The raw fish is also top quality and seems fresh off the boat. There is something magical about cooking your own food and sharing it with someone else, though it IS very intimate (so don’t go with people you don’t mind sharing with or don’t share well with. Lol)You just can’t beat Izziban with their prices for AYCE, especially with the quality food they have to offer.
I would say they serve fantastic food for the money but after having traveled to Asia several times and enjoying authentic Asian cuisine I can hole heartedly say this is just fantastic food and great service. The fact that it does not break the bank is just the icing on the cake of what is a fantastic experience. A true hidden gem. Please support this new local business and give them a try for yourself.
Not bad for an AYCE late night dinner for $24.99. We came here at 9pm on a Monday and this place was busy. This includes the salad bar and side menu like steamed egg, fried rice, japchae, tofu. There are items for $5 or $6 additional like ramen and wings. Our table kept getting the beef brisket. It's thin and quick to grill.Loved that they allowed us to split 3 credit cards for our table.
Overall experience was alright. Hostess seated us quickly and our waiter was nice and accurate. Jackson didn't write down any of our order but got everything in our large order right. Kudos to you kid! The miso soup was good. The ginger salad was good, had too many stalk pieces for my liking. Krab Rangoon's were a bit smaller than I was expecting. The shrimp tempura roll was delicious. The red dragon roll wasn't my favorite. It had too much, what I think was, sesame oil poured on top. The bulgogi and rice was okay, felt like it needed to be cooked more and needed a sauce over it. The place could use a remodel and some brightening up. They're right by a lake and opening up the space with large windows would work wonders. The place also looks like it's a mish mosh of different areas, needs to be more cohesive.
Our favorite place to go for late night happy hour. 4 stars for the sishi but 5 for the bulgolgi bento box during happy hour. $15 can get you a DELICIOUS large bento box PLUS soup. (he miso and clesr soup are amazing). they also have buy 1 get 1 wine! They also offer 2 rolls for $12 during late night hh.
