Ruth's Chris Steak House - Orlando

This was my first and last visit to Ruth's Chris on Sandlake. I found that my expectations were too high. My wife's steak was severely undercooked and the lobster mac and cheese lacked truffle flavor, with dry lobster meat that did not justify its $25 price tag. The hostess was unprofessional, speaking negatively about guests once they were seated. Some guests were allowed to enter wearing hats and hoods, with the excuse that one had a medical issue. The executive chef made an appearance in the dining room but did not inquire about diners' satisfaction with the food; instead, he sat with friends at a table, which I found unprofessional. While the restaurant is not inexpensive, customers come here for special occasions and lasting memories. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a nice dinner experience. I would only give this place 2 stars if it weren't for our excellent server, Johnny.

Absolutely amazing! The food is phenomenal. The steak is perfectly cooked. Drinks are strong and tasty. The side dishes are divine. Get the sweet potato casserole, it will change your life!!! The service is stellar as well. Zero complaints about this establishment.

Went to Ruth Chris during the Magical Dining Event and had the 3 course meal $40 fix price. I had the lobster bisque soup. It was okay but should of been better. Publix fresh made lobster bisque was better. I had the petite filet mignon and added the blue cheese crust to it. It was very good and the blue cheese crust topping was a good added flavor. Steak is there Forte. It came to the table still sizzling on a hot plate. It looked sizzling good. I added on for an extra price the lobster mac and cheese. It was huge and good. I had to take half of it home to finish the next day. I had the cheesecake with berries for desert. Smaller than usual and round instead of wedge shape. Was good. If you go outside of Magical Dining time it will be about $100 per person. The Cowboy Ribeye Steak is $75 but it must be good because they know how to do steak. Ruth Chris is a premier steak house.

The restaurant had fantastic food and excellent service. The valet, Jake, was efficient and our server, Dan, made our anniversary extra special with his great service and humor. Dan also gave us great recommendations. The manager, Josh, made us feel appreciated. The only downside was a 30 minute wait for our reservation, despite arriving early. However, the overall experience was wonderful, with delicious food bursting with flavor.

The food at this restaurant is incredible! The steak is absolutely amazing and the bread pudding is out of this world. It would have been a 5-star experience if the service was better. Unfortunately, the server was not friendly or welcoming, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.
