Strong Water Tavern - Orlando

We dined at this restaurant twice during a recent visit to Universal Orlando and had an exceptional experience both times. It is probably the best food and service in the resort, and we have tried almost all the dining options over the years. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the water. The menu is excellent, offering a great selection of interesting tapas-style dishes and fantastic drinks. We tried many different plates on both visits and were not disappointed with a single one. Our favorite dish was the curry goat, which we ordered both times because it was absolutely delicious. The camarones and grilled octopus were also highlights. The drinks were beautifully presented and generous. Our server, Kat, was fantastic - providing perfect service and engaging in friendly conversation. On our second visit, she even introduced us to Chef Carlos after we raved about the curry goat, and he was just as charming. We can't wait for our next visit to Universal - this restaurant is not to be missed and is now one of our top dining spots in the resort.

This restaurant is a great spot for dining and drinks. The menu features small plates or tapas, with everything being quite tasty. The only critique is that the black dish could use a bit more seasoning. However, the meat was cooked really well and very flavorful. I would give it 4 stars, but docked a star due to the lack of seasoning on the Caribbean Hispanic dishes.

We had a fantastic date night at this restaurant! The drinks and dishes were delicious. Hilary provided excellent service, walking us through the different options since it was our first time there. The live singer was a great addition, as she sang beautifully. Our time at the Sapphire Resort ended on a high note thanks to this experience. I can't wait to come back for the Churro Bowl with Dulce de Leche ice cream! Food: 4/5.

My husband and I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's a must-visit every time we're in town. They offer unique Latin/Caribbean dishes that are a refreshing change from standard burger or pasta options. If you appreciate this type of cuisine, you'll definitely love this place. Our personal favorites are the curry goat with coconut rice and the banana bread pudding. We highly recommend it! Food: 5/5.

The food was served cold and the portions were small. The tables around us were not being cleared, and we had to change our chairs because they were dirty. Only one of the meat tacos had meat in it, the other was just salad. The vegetable curry was cold and didn't have many vegetables, possibly because it was served on a flat plate. The vegetarian dishes lacked flavor and variety. This was our second visit, but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The vegetarian options were limited, so make sure to ask for the vegetarian menu.
