The Golden Pod Chocolate - Orlando

We had a really disappointing experience. The food was not good, the service was poor, and they seemed to prioritize a large party that arrived after us. Additionally, the music was excessively loud.

This is a fantastic spot for birthdays, offering affordable drinks and exquisite desserts. I really enjoyed the meal and the ambiance!

The steak was unavailable and was substituted with a less expensive cut. It was nearly impossible to get water. Each guest was served at different times, which meant our food was cold by the time everyone received theirs.

I booked twice in this restaurant, both of them I drove there. it is 40 miles per way from my house, only to find them closed, although their website frankly said and they also have a reservation on open table. I would not recommend this device because they are obviously not very reliable

I’ll just start by saying that I don’t typically review restaurants nor do I walk out of restaurants after I have placed my order but I feel like the reviews for this place can be misleading. I really wanted to check this place out because of all the hype surrounding it. The pictures of the food and restaurant in general looked great. But my experience was horrible. The waitress started by saying that they were out of a handful of key ingredients which greatly decreased our menu options. I then asked if I could have a selfie latte which I thought was pretty cool but she then informed me that the machine was broken. So we all asked for regular coffee’s, a round of waters, and placed our breakfast order. We got 3 waters for the adults and the 2 toddlers that were with us, got nothing. We sat for about 40 minutes and received nothing else. There was one waitress in the restaurant with three tables. One party was huge and I could understand she may have had a difficult time serving everyone but what I don’t understand is why she was the only person in the entire restaurant on a Sunday during prime brunch hours. I cannot speak for the food because we decided to leave after we sat for such a long time with two hungry toddlers but I can say that the service was horrible and I will not be going back here.
