I was hoping for a wider selection of Mexican dishes, as I think I had the wrong impression based on the name Taco Temple. However, the tacos were quite good! My son had the nachos, and he enjoyed them as well. I can't recall if they offered a military discount, but that's always a nice touch in my opinion.
Huge portions! Fresh shrimp and crumb guacamole. We had street tacos (3) that came with black beans, guacamole and Mexican rice. All delicious and fresh. Service quickly friendly and RV parking was easy.
Excellent food! Great taste, spices are perfect. We go back to other excursions in the part of the coast. I'd like to find out where they get their onions. I'm not as big as an onion fan, but that was great tasting. Sweet was perfect with all the accompanying season of our streets tacos.
Oh my gosh, everyone! I tried this place for the first time, and even though I live in Pismo, I just had to give it a go. The food was really delicious, and the service was great. The horchata was so tasty! The chips were good too, and even though the salsa had a bit of a store-bought taste, overall, I give it a thumbs up! In the pictures, you can see the pozole I ordered, my daughter's sweet potato enchilada, my husband's carne asada tacos, beans, and rice.
We've been in SLO 4 days and visit taco temple daily. Friendly and efficient staff. The freshest seafood and delicious Mexican inspired entrees for a reasonable price. Yummy desserts. Cool retro surfer decor. Very clean and popular place.
