Embermill - Santa Barbara

What a great addition to Santa Barbara 's restaurant scene. From the delicious farm to bar cocktail to the succulent pork dish and flavorful catfish, this was the relaxed but sophisticated offering we hoped it would be. Great staff and reggae soundtrack plus a friendly visit from the chef. Our only concern is that despite the strong reviews (which were more than backed up by our experience) traffic seemed light. Give it a chance so we can keep Embermill around! Santa Barbara needs this. We 'll be back.

The unique flavors are what makes this place really stand out. There is nothing even remotely similar in Santa Barbara. The best part is the flavors all compliment each other perfectly, it's not just a mash of flavor in your face. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Finally! Something different AND excellent that isn’t in the Funk Zone. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere relaxed and real.
