We were part of a group of 14 people and had an amazing experience. The food and service at this establishment are the best in the Cashiers-Sapphire-Highlands-Lake Toxaway area. The restaurant is located in a converted house setting with two lovely fireplaces, but the ambiance could be improved by incorporating more of a mountain feel, as the off-white walls and modern eclectic wall art feel a bit flat and not very romantic. However, the food and service more than make up for it. Our group tried almost half of the menu and loved everything we ordered. My husband enjoyed the crab-citrus salad and pot roast, while I indulged in the Jerusalem artichoke-parsnip soup and lobster-shrimp risotto with crispy Brussel sprouts. For dessert, we shared the white chocolate moonshine creme brûlée, which was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, as Chef Johannes is truly a master of his craft. It's now my new favorite spot to dine!
