I was here a few times with different friends (not veggie), who also thought it was nice, relaxing and a great escape from Covid . Coffee is as you expect to come in Italy and as a vegan it is great to have a choice. Giuliana is clearly passionate about her food and it shows! A real jewel....

Freedom Caffè is located in Whitehall Historic House in Cheam Village. Stunning and unique location for this vegetarian and vegan tea room. The food is freshly cooked on site and there are various interesting options. Our vegan croissants are amazing along with gluten-free cakes as Pistachio Cake or almond and lemons. Vegan Brunch options are available. We offer another choice of grilled panini. Our best? Friarielli (Italian bitter but tasty green) in garlic and olive oil. We are known in Cheam for our Italian hot chocolate and for the high quality of our coffee from the Italian crafts roaster Agust. Known in Cheam for their Italian hot chocolate and high quality coffee from Italian roaster Agust, Caffè Freedom also offers a new addition to their menu: barley cappuccino.

This restaurant is a very nice place with a lot of vegan options. I inquired about the hot chocolate being vegan, and although it wasn't, the staff was very accommodating and happily made me a vegan version. I will definitely be coming back. Review updated on 2022-01-17.
