Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza Orlando (sand Lake)

The best pizza in Orlando! Even though they don't use this app, don't hesitate to join the waitlist through OpenTable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is the best pizza in town, it's always my first stop when I get off the plane from Canada.

I returned to this restaurant for the first time in over 2 years, and I was disappointed to find that the pizza was not as good as it used to be. The crust was not fluffy and lacked the charred spots from the wood stove. I wonder if there are new owners or chefs now. The taste was bland and not as robust as I remembered. We ordered 3 pizzas, but none of them were up to par. The Broccolli Rob and sausage pizza was especially disappointing as it was lacking in sausage. We won't be returning as we were not satisfied with our experience. We arrived at 8 PM and the restaurant was empty, which might explain why.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and felt well looked after. The chef even came by our table to check on us during our meal. The dry rub chicken wings were a standout with their flavorful and tender meat. The pizza was also exceptional, with a perfect crust that was cooked to perfection. Don't leave without taking some home!

We felt sorry for our server at the restaurant. She began by accidentally spilling our son's drink all over the table and then commented, "it's not my day." Despite this incident, the food was excellent. However, the server did not check in on us frequently, even though we were kind to her, considering it was the holiday season and she seemed to be having a rough day. Overall, the service was not great, but the food made up for it.
