I may consider giving this restaurant another chance with a different dish, but the pan fried haddock I had was the worst I have ever tasted. It was extremely greasy, to the point where I had to urgently pull over on my drive home to use the bathroom in a ditch beside the highway. I have never experienced such a reaction from a meal in all my years. I strongly advise avoiding this dish at all costs.
I had a few meals at this restaurant while attending a concert in Cheticamp. The home cooking was fantastic, the hosts were very attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend dining here.
Our own accommodation on the harbour served dinner but not breakfast, so we did the short walk to this restaurant for breakfast. The place is clean, nice views out the window, and the server was very friendly. The decor was nice, but that's not the big draw here. One of us had the French Toast, the other the full eggs, toast, hash browns and bacon breakfast. We had some hiking ahead of us, and needed something hardy, and were well served here. The sunny-side up eggs were perfect, and the French Toast was a good size, nicely cooked, with real Maple Syrup. If we're ever through again, we'd try if for dinner!
This restaurant in Cheticamp, located conveniently along the Cabot Trail, is the perfect spot for breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast here twice and had oatmeal, eggs, bacon, and toast. The food was delicious, with generous portions. They also offer plenty of coffee and tea. The service was great as well. We highly recommend stopping by for breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to try their lunch or dinner options.
