Cherryripe - SUTTON FOREST

I absolutely love this restaurant. The coffee is delicious and the meals are flavorful and reasonably priced. Despite a newer, more trendy cafe opening up in the nearby shopping center, this place tends to be quiet and peaceful rather than bustling. I highly recommend it.

I visited the restaurant on Monday for lunch with a group of six people. There were only four other customers dining in that day. The service was quick to give us menus, but it took a while for us to order. We asked for a second bottle of water, which took a long time to arrive. The meals also took a while to come out. When they did, one person in our group asked the waitress about the calamari and received a unhelpful response. They had to go to the kitchen themselves to get an answer. My fish and chips had a small portion size and the fish tasted sour. The coffee was served too hot and tasted bitter. Two of the front of house staff, especially the young woman, spent most of their time on their phones. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant. It seemed like the owner was not present, and I would not recommend this place. It was also very noisy due to the hard surfaces, but this is common in restaurants.

We went here for dinner tonight and found the food fantastic , service great , and it had a nice atmosphere with quiet music and lovely art works on the walls ! Totally beats the pub where we are the night before !!!! We would recommend and come again !!!

I come here with my family and the food was fantastic, I have come here before. I come back and noticed they have a young female chef on board and also was amazed they now offer vegan food. I was so excited and the food was amazing. Thank you to all the staff who are truly amazing

The coffee was a standout as far as my Canberra coffee experiences go. Easily one of the best. The food was good brunch fare, nothing life-changing but tasty, filling and well presented.Service wasn't *bad*, it just wasn't as fast as I would have expected given how few customers were there at the time. Tolerable, but I have to deduct a point for it.Overall, I'd come back on another lazy weekend morning because the coffee was very good. But not if I had a tight schedule to keep.
